The 4 grades
We use different materials to offer 4 “grades” of boats. Each grade is finished
to the same high standard, but has a different price point, and may be more suitable for certain situations and
environments.
All Swift boats share these features;
- "Sandwich" construction (ie. A core material such as honeycomb, coremate, or PVC foam is sandwiched between 2 "skins").
- Use epoxy resin, cured at high temperture.
- Bonded under vacuum.
- Enclosed seat decks for maximum buoyancy (exceed FISA's requirement).
Elite Carbon

Our very top boat, all carbon skins, and built to FISA minimum weight. For an extra charge, it can be finished in a clear UV blocking,
polyurethane paint that shows the weave of the carbon cloth, and demonstrates the skill of the builder. |

Elite
| Overview |
Specifically for use in competition, so are built at or close to FISA minimum weight. Mostly use kevlar cloth, with carbon seat decks and carbon reinforcing on the saxboards and keel. |
